Course: Spanish I Teacher: Ismael Dutchover Room P412Bienvenidos a la clase de Español I
Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to Spanish I at Goose Creek Memorial High School. I am excited that you will be in my class this school year and have decided to learn a foreign language. I love the Spanish language and know that we will have a wonderful year here at Goose Creek Memorial. I look forward to all students learning and discovering a new language and culture.
In my class students will learn to use Spanish through a variety of activities such as: dialogues, role-play, power points and other various activities. Learning a foreign language is a fun and rewarding experience! Not only will the students learn how to speak some Spanish, but they will also experience Spanish culture in the classroom through music, videos, and games.
I look forward to working with you to ensure your child’s greatest level of success. I have realized over the years that without your involvement your child will find it more difficult to succeed. Students need to study on a daily basis, especially new vocabulary and grammar and it is imperative that you encourage your son or daughter to do their best. In order to guarantee that your child reaches his/her utmost potential it is important that you communicate any concerns or comments you might have concerning your child’s performance and my class. Please feel free to e-mail me at:
